ISAAC William - 1870 - 09/06/1870 – Age 40 - Banksman. Sirhowy (ironstone), Ebbw Vale Co Ltd., Monmouth. He was helping to unload a truck of timber for his pit (No. 7) when a train from Sirhowy furnaces loaded with iron struck it with great force and was so badly injured he died before he got him. It is a private line.
