FEARNLEY James (injured) - 1879 - 16/09/1879 – Age 32 - Miner. Westleigh, James Diggle, Westleigh, Lancashire. Burned by a shot. It went off as he was drawing the wadding which had stuck in the hole the cartridge having burst before reaching the top. 3 injured.

FEATHERSTONE Richard - 1878 - 12/03/1878 – Age 18. Unity Brook, James Stott and Co., Kersley, Lancashire. Explosion of firedamp in Cannel Mine. An outburst of gas from the first large fall of roof in the west workings. Candles being used. 43 killed.

FEAVER Robert - 1878 - 02/09/1878 – Age 31 - Miner. Eston (ironstone), Bolckow Vaughan and Co., Middlesbrough, Yorkshire. Fall of ironstone in broken jud after firing two shots. He was examining the place at the time.
