Memorials - Alphabetical

Note 1 – There was a mining memorial at Cambuslang Industrial estate and one at Blackridge on cycle path near Blackridge, West Lothian. The latter was demolished during the construction of the Bathgate to Airdrie railway. There was a memorial on Woolmet Bing, by Danderhall, but the hutch from this memorial has been incorporated into the memorials Danderhall, Midlothian. The Charles Carlow Memorial Miners Convalescent Home at Blairs Castle, Culross, Fife is now the home of The Scottish Mining Convalescent Trust.

Note 2 – There are two memorials to Spanish Civil War which carry the names of miners involved in and who died in the Spanish Civil. As they are not mining / miner specific memorials they have not been included in this list. One memorial is in Glasgow and the other in Kirkcaldy.
