Crossgates Community Garden
Grossgates is in Fife Close to the M90 and A92
As far as I am aware it isn't a memorial but it does have mining and mining related content.
It is at the junction of the âTâ road junction where the road to Auchtertool meets the road in Crossgates which goes south to Inverkeithing.
It is quite narrow and stretches some way back from the kerb. The photos show the items along the left hand side when looking from the road kerb. The mural is first, then the tableau with mine coal cutter, display of bricks and hutch. The big gear wheel is next then there are a number of the small plaques showing fossils which stretch from the wheel to the back of the garden. Some way near the middle of the garden, half way from the kerb, to the rear is the planter. It has a plaque on both front and back.
