Spelling Mistake - 'The North Staffs Miners' Banner

Whilst enjoying a read through some of your disaster articles last night, I spotted a spelling mistake at the foot of the page on 'The North Staffs Miners' banner which links to John Lumsdon.

Being where it is, in the header which links to the main articles. I thought you might wish to correct this.

John Lumsdon Menu

Says: "This site is decicted to the 4495" etc. instead of 'dedicated'

Wernffraith Colliery Disasters, Neath Abbey

Hello

May I correct your references to the Wernffraith Colliery Disasters, Neath Abbey.

17 people were killed on 24th May 1758 (see D.R.Phillips ' History of the Vale of Neath and Cadoxton Parish Registers') and 10 people killed at the same colliery on 12th June 1770.

The Lindsay Colliery was not in Cowdenbeath
The Lindsay Colliery was not in Cowdenbeath It was at the bottom of Station Road Kelty. Kelty is 3 miles from Cowdenbeath and was and still is a totally different place.

Pit Terminology - Glossary - Carbon Monoxide

Hi
 
In the Pit Terminology - Glossary section under Carbon Monoxide it states that it explodes between 5% and 9%.
 
The actual explosive range of Carbon Monoxide is 12.5% to 74%.
 
Hope I`m not being too pedantic.
 
By the way I was a Mines Rescue Brigade member for 18 years.
