In Memory

Sunderland Daily Echo and Shipping Gazette 20 January 1940

BENDELOW.—Treasured memories of our dear son, Charles Henry Bendelow, who was accidentally killed January 20, 1939.

When by your grave we often stand,
We try our best to understand,
Why one so young, so good, so kind,
A resting place so soon should find.
Once our home was bright and happy,
But, oh, how sad it is to-day,
For the one we loved so dearly.
Has for ever passed away.
—Too  dearly  loved  ever to  be  forgotten  by loving father and mother.

BENDELOW —In loving memory of our dear nephew, Charles Henry  Bendelow who was accidentally killed January 20, 1939.

If all the world were mine to give,
I would give It, yes, and more,
To clasp the hands of one we loved,
And see his smile once more.
—Ever remembered by his aunt Dinah, uncle Tom. and family.  A

BENDELOW —Treasured memories of our dear nephew, Harry accidentally killed January 20, 1939.
He was loved by us and respected by all.
—Ever remembered by his loving aunt Sally, uncle Harry,  and cousin Jack.
